Ian Ogg has the Sunday best bets from around the tracks with the Nap in action at Chepstow.
Sunday selections
OOH BETTY - 16:22 Chepstow (NAP)
OOH BETTY has won first time up before so the lack of a run might not be an issue for Ben Clarke's mare who enjoyed an excellent second half of the season on more testing ground.
Ooh Betty struggled in her first two starts on good ground but returned to form on soft to win a Grade 2 mares' race at Ascot before running respectably in the County Hurdle (ninth) and Scottish Champion Hurdle (third). She starts the season on a fair mark and should find this switch to seniors' company less taxing for all this is still a competitive heat.
SWORD MAKER - 16:42 Goodwood
Cerulean Bay won this last year and isn't handicapped out of it, Wechaad has been running consistently well in similar races and Storming Point has races in him from his current mark but preference is for SWORD MAKER who is entitled to come on for his run at Newmarket.
Stepping up a furlong in trip should also help and although he's drawn wider than ideal and encounters cut in the ground for the first time, neither are expected to be an issue for a three-year-old who should have more to offer.
