This afternoon's meeting at Hamilton goes ahead after the track passed an inspection.

Officials at the venue called a precautionary check following a total of 22.4 millimetres of rain at the track on Tuesday.

It has been dry overnight though and the course is fit for action, with the going described as soft, heavy in places.
