Sedgefield give green light to Monday meeting

This afternoon's meeting at Sedgefield has been given the green light following a third inspection.

A heavy overnight frost meant officials were unable to declare the track racecable at 7.30am or 9am but by 1030am temperatures had risen sufficiently to allow racing to take place.

The opener on a six-race card is at 1.15 with champion jockey Richard Johnson in action, including a ride for Gordon Elliott.
