William Haggas expects to find out if Give And Take is capable of mixing it at a higher level in Wednesday's Tattersalls Musidora Stakes at York.
Second in her first two races, she broke her maiden in fine style at Lingfield on her final outing at two.
She has already had one run this season at Sandown in April when second to Sir Michael Stoute's promising Crystal Hope, giving the winner 6lb, with John Gosden's reopposing Highgarden back in third.
"She finished in front of John Gosden's filly last time and that one is clearly highly-rated," said Haggas.
"Our filly ran a very good race at Sandown. Whether she needs that (soft) ground I don't know, but she handles it well. It will be lovely ground at York, no excuses on that front.
"She's a very genuine filly who tries like hell. I think she'll run her race, whether that is good enough we'll see. She has lots of stamina on the dam's side but she shows a bit of speed at home.
"I've left her in the Oaks but I'm not convinced she's going to be better over a mile and a half. If everything went well tomorrow, we'd have to have a go."
Ralph Beckett's skills with fillies are well known and he sends Ceilidhs Dream into the Oaks trial after just two races. Third on debut at Kempton, she won a Newmarket maiden at the Craven meeting.
Beckett said: "It is a step up in class for her, but I was very pleased with her win at Newmarket last time. She has been working well at home and hopefully this will prove a good indicator for some later season targets.
"She's not in the Oaks and she's not really bred to go beyond a mile and a quarter, we'll see how that goes. I'm glad we've declared and it would be nice to think she is good enough."
Ed Vaughan's Dancing Brave Bear and David Simcock's Ejtyah are defending unbeaten records while Peter Chapple-Hyam runs Lubinka, who was bought by Qatar Racing Ltd after winning at Lingfield.
Hugo Palmer's Expensive Liaison completes the seven-runner field.

Winning a Class 6 novices' event on Polytrack wouldn't be an automatic recommendation for this under normal circumstances but LUBINKA had run well in the Fillies' Mile at Newmarket on her previous start and can take this step up in class in her stride. Ceilidhs Dream looked one to follow when landing a Newmarket maiden last month and deserves a crack at this level. Highgarden, a winner at Newbury last summer, started odds-on for her reappearance at Sandown but disappointed and finished behind runner-up Give And Take and there doesn't seem an obvious reason for a form reversal. Dancing Brave Bear, who cost $230,000, has won both starts on Polytrack and takes a step up in trip while Ejtyah had a bit in hand when landing a Chelmsford novices' contest but Expensive Liaison only scrambled home in a similar event at Beverley.
