Frost forces Catterick inspection on Wednesday


Wednesday's meeting at Catterick is subject to a precautionary inspection at 8am due to the threat of frost.

Ground conditions were described as good, good to firm in places on Tuesday morning following minimal rainfall overnight.

The North Yorkshire circuit is due to stage a six-race card, with racing set to get under way at 1.20pm.

However, temperatures are forecast to dip as low as minus 3C on Tuesday night and course officials have decided to call a morning check.
