WATCH: Plusvital Madrid Handicap - Curragh, March 20 2016

A handicap mark of 95 looked stiff enough based on his Leopardstown maiden win in late-October but the progress he made over the winter became immediately evident with an easy, five-length success. It was a performance that smacked of 'Group horse in a handicap' and so it proved.

WATCH: Tetrarch Stakes - Curragh, May 2 2016

The same seven furlongs at the Curragh and although a less destructive display, a nice and easy prep ahead of his crack at a Classic clearly worked the trick.

WATCH: Irish 2,000 Guineas - Curragh, March 21 2016

Aidan O'Brien fielded four against Newmarket hero Galileo Gold but not one of them hit the frame. Hugo Palmer's horse was made to settle for second behind the rapidly-improving Awtaad, whose bright turn of foot took him to the front just after passing the two-pole. He stayed on strongly to score by two and a half lengths and spark jubilant scenes in the winner's circle.

WATCH: Boomerang Stakes - Leopardstown, September 10 2016

A final fling for the son of Cape Cross, with a tongue-tie fitted for the first time. The drop to Group Two level resulted in an impressive victory over Custom Cut, with Hit It A Bomb back in third.
