Ripon are preparing to host their popular free Friday evening fixture for the third consecutive year this week.
Introduced in 2016 as part of an initiative to encourage first-time racegoers to enjoy a taste of the sport, Ripon offer completely free entry into their Paddock and Course enclosures for the Friday evening fixture.
Managing Director James Hutchinson said: "Feedback from visitors in the first two years of the initiative has proved highly positive, in particular from those experiencing racing for the first time, and that encouraged us to bring back free Friday for a third year.
"We are really pleased to be working with blacktype.bet as sponsors of the event and we are very much looking forward to delivering another fantastic fun evening of racing and music."
Throughout the evening the sponsors will be running competitions, including the opportunity to present the trophy to the winner of one of the races on the night and the chance to win a VIP day for four on Ladies' Day at Ripon on June 21.
There will also be a penalty challenge with free bets on offer for those who can beat former professional goalkeeper and now Black Type Head of Media, David Preece.
