Saturday Lucky 15: Best bets for Ayr and Newbury

Don't miss our latest weekend Lucky 15 as David Ord has selections for both Ayr and Newbury.

A Lucky 15 consists of 15 bets: 4 singles, 6 doubles, 4 trebles, 1 four-fold. To place a multiple bet, select horses and options will appear in your betslip.

FRERE D'ARMES – 1.35 Newbury

He fluffed his lines raised in class in the Sky Bet Dovecote last time but FRERE D’ARMES had previously made a bright start to his hurdling career and looks interesting here from an opening mark of 122.

Dan Skelton’s charge won at Huntingdon and Wincanton before finishing only sixth at Kempton but has been off since and returns to the fray a fresh horse.

He's in against other improving and unexposed sorts but looks worth chancing with the forecast strong pace in his favour too.

SPEECH BUBBLE – 2.45 Newbury

She pulled well clear of the rest when shaking up subsequent Cheltenham winner Love Envoi at Sandown last time and SPEECH BUBBLE can successfully concede weight all round in the British EBF BetVictor racingtohelpukraine.uk 'National Hunt' Mares' Novices' Hurdle.

Noel Williams’ charge is already a course-and-distance winner and is a classy mare on the upgrade. She looks one to side with.

IL RIDOTO – 3.00 Ayr

He travelled well for a long way when eighth in the Grand Annual at Cheltenham and this relative speed test is going to prove much more to IL RIDOTO’s liking.

The five-year-old will relish underfoot conditions too and providing the Cheltenham exertions haven’t take a toll this looks a good opening for him.

"I think there is plenty to like about him off his current handicap mark" | Racing Best Bets

THE FERRY MASTER – 3.35 Ayr

He was involved in a protracted duel with stablemate Dingo Dollar for much of the home straight when fourth in this last year and from a five pounds lower mark THE FERRY MASTER makes plenty of appeal.

He arrives here off the back of a good run when second to Geryville at Newcastle having looked all over the winner until the dying strides.

The nine-year-old has been laid out for this all season and makes plenty of appeal.
