Chantry House is expected to make his class count on Sunday's card at Exeter - get up to date with all the tips from our gallops insider.
Arafi - 5.45 Wolverhampton
Arafi has given plenty of evidence that she is on an upward curve and has a good opportunity to land her third win in a row in the Bombardier Handicap at Wolverhampton. Richard Hannon's three year old ended her first campaign with a cosy win at Salisbury, and continued where she left off with an emphatic success at Kempton a week ago. The Hannon team have wasted no time in attempting the hat-trick bid, but she has taken the exertions well and still looks on a winnable mark.
Pride Day - 6.15 Wolverhampton
Pride Day represents the in-form Ivan Furtado on his first appearance at this level in the Get Your Ladbrokes Daily Odds Boost Selling Stakes, and he should give likely favourite Tataboq plenty to think about on what will be only the second outing of his career. He was up against it on his debut behind hot favourite Carrothers at Southwell, but ran better than his final placing suggests, and has much less to do here.
Chantry House - 2.40 Exeter
Exeter's Sunday meeting affords the best chance of seeing some jumping over the weekend, and should it pass the early morning inspection, it could provide Chantry House with the opportunity to put his season back on course in the Watch On Racing TV Novices Chase. A high class novice hurdler last season, he followed a debut win over fences with a disappointing third to stablemate Fusil Raffles on his only subsequent start at the Cheltenham December meeting. He was found to have muscle trouble after that defeat, but seems to be back in good nick now, and is clearly the one they all have to beat. However, those looking for each-way value in what is a competitive race, may want to try their luck on the former Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained One For Rosie, who makes his first appearance for the Kim Bailey stable.
Oscar Elite - 3.10 Exeter
Colin Tizzard has managed to get his powerful team back in the groove just in time to make an impact at the Cheltenham Festival, and it will surprise no one to see Oscar Elite make it three wins from four starts over timber in the RacingTV.com Novices Hurdle. Both course and ground conditions should suit the six year old, who impressed with two wins at Chepstow before finishing a well beaten ninth in a Grade 2 at Warwick when clearly not at his best on his latest start.
Two For Gold - 3.15 Warwick, Monday
Hopefully the thaw will arrive in time to allow Warwick's rescheduled meeting to go ahead on Monday, and it is rumoured that Bailey will allow Two For Gold to take his chance in the Paddy Power Warwick Castle Handicap Chase. A high-class novice last season, he would surely have broken his duck this term had he jumped with any fluency at Kempton on his latest start. He still managed to finish a two length third to Double Shuffle, and looks well worth taking a chance with if his trainer goes ahead with the original plan and fits him with cheek pieces for the first time.
Blame The Game - 3.50 Warwick, Monday
Chris Gordon has also given ample evidence recently that his team are back on song after a mid-winter lull, and Blame The Game should go well in what promises to be an interesting race for the From The Horses Mouth Podcast Handicap Hurdle. His three performances so far over timber read well, and he still looks relatively unexposed, given that his stable were not at their most productive when he was beaten at Ascot on his latest start just before Christmas.
