Godolphin supplement Catle Lady into French 1000 Guineas

Castle Lady has been supplemented by Godolphin for the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches on Sunday - but connections of Siyarafina have decided against adding her to the line-up.

The field for the French 1000 Guineas is currently 12-strong, with one more final declaration stage to go. Trained by Alex Pantall, Castle Lady is unbeaten in two starts, winning the Prix la Grotte on her most recent outing.

British interests are spearheaded by Kevin Ryan's East, who chased home Newspaperofrecord at the Breeders' Cup.

John Gosden's Angel's Hideaway is set for a quick reappearance after running so well behind Hermosa at Newmarket on Sunday, while William Haggas' Rainbow Heart and Simon Crisford's Imperial Charm could also make the journey.

However, Haggas raised a doubt about Rainbow Heart's participation.

"I'm not sure Rainbow Heart will go, I just need to check the ground. She needs quickish ground, so we might wait with her and go for the Musidora at York," he said.

Aidan O'Brien will be represented by Killavullan Stakes winner Coral Beach.

There were no additions to the Poule d'Essai des Poulains, with Andre Fabre's Persian King headlining 13 contenders. He already has a victory over English Guineas winner Magna Grecia to his name and reappeared with a comfortable success over this course and distance. Fabre has also left in Munitions, who like Persian King will run in the blue colours of Godolphin.

O'Brien relies on Never No More and Van Beethoven, with Joseph O'Brien running No Needs Never Paul Cole is represented by Duke Of Hazzard with the Martyn Meade-trained Advertise, a bitter disappointment at Newmarket on Saturday, set for a quick reappearance.

Haggas' Senza Limiti and Roger Varian's San Donato are both in the mix, too.

"I think Senza will go, the ground looks like it will suit him," said Haggas. Freddy Head's Anodor and Carlos Laffon-Parias' Shaman add strength to the home team.
