It's hard to enthuse about most of the field in this race, they are out of form and hard to make a case for.

Leanna Ben is a horse who should have more than two wins to his name but isn't the most resolute in a finish. These are his optimum conditions and if running his race he should be in the three.

Connections of RED GIANT must've been gutted with the race being called void last time out. He was heavily backed from the moment bookmakers priced up a day before, until the tapes went up.

He showed lots of ability in Ireland late last year but tumbled in the weights since joining Jennie Candlish. His disappointing runs were over the minimum trip and he seemed far more comfortable over 3m last time out.

Today the trip is 2m 5 1/2f and I'm pretty confident it won't be detrimental to his chances. This is a weaker race than last time and he is more or less a winner running without a penalty. A repetition of that run should see him in the winner's enclosure today and he's a very confident selection.
