AGAMEMMON was backed heavily on his seasonal debut in what was his first run for Tom George and he was thrown straight in over fences in a handicap.

Huntingdon can be a fiddly track to find a rhythm for a novice chaser and Agamemmon shifted left at a lot of his fences, chasing a reasonable gallop and losing ground at his obstacles.

Despite the apparent negatives, he looked the likely winner for a long way before eventual winner Officer Hooliihan swooped by in the home straight.

With a run under his belt and back on a left-handed track I think he will have a much cleaner run round and will take the beating, despite the ground being a tad softer than maybe ideal.

In opposition Halo Moon has a bit to prove after a 646-day lay-off.

Cloudy Beach is interesting coming off a pipe opener, he will be at home on soft ground but has a bit to prove.

Truckers Highway is 5lb higher for his gritty victory but has the combination of softer ground and longer trip to contend with.

Just Georgie is respected and looks reasonably weighted and it will be interesting if the money comes for Siruh Du Lac.
