Al Basti Equiworld Dubai is to be the exclusive broadcast partner of Racing UK’s live morning magazine programme, Luck on Sunday, when the popular show returns for a second season on Sunday, October 14.
The weekly breakfast programme, hosted by Nick Luck, is dedicated to debate, comment, analysis and features. The seven-time (HWPA) broadcaster of the year will be joined by a host of the biggest names from the world of horseracing for this 40-week season. The free-to-watch programme is available to 13m homes on the Sky platform and a worldwide audience via www.racinguk.com.
The series will be sponsored by Al Basti Equiworld Dubai, the UAE’s leading distributor of horse feeds, feed supplements and veterinary medicines and will feature regular stories from Dubai, where the season at Meydan gets underway on November 1 and culminates with the Dubai World Cup on March 30. Luck on Sunday will also be broadcast live from Meydan on selected dates throughout the season.
Al Basti Equiworld founder Malih Al Basti said: “We are proud to be associated with Luck on Sunday. Racing UK has established itself as an essential channel for racing enthusiasts all over the world and we are delighted be able to support them in this way and recognise their commitment to the promotion of racing in Dubai.”
Luck said: “I'm delighted Al Basti Equiworld Dubai, one of the biggest names in the industry, is keen to be associated with the show. We have a very strong, loyal following, especially among the horsemen and women, which is the audience that Al Basti Equiworld Dubai regularly communicates with. The sponsorship is a natural and strong fit for Luck on Sunday and we are grateful to Mr Malih Al Basti for his endorsement of the programme.”
Luck on Sunday will air from 9am to 11.30am every Sunday from October 14 on Racing UK (Sky 426, Virgin 536, Freeview / YouView 261, racinguk.com).
