VERDICT

The Rainbow Hunter won this race at 25/1 in 2014 and the trends point towards another big-priced winner this time around in the shape of BRIAN BORANHA.

Peter Niven’s progressive eight-year-old has won three of his last five starts over fences, with his latest victory in the Durham National back in October his most impressive to date. His trainer believes there is further improvement to come and he looks capable of out-running his sizeable odds.

Of those towards the head of the market, course and distance winners Dingo Dollar and O O Seven are both respected, with marginal preference for the former on the back of his good third in the Ladbrokes Trophy at Newbury.
