Arrogate has been installed as Sky Bet's 1/2 favourite as he attempts to repair his reputation in Saturday's Pacific Classic at Del Mar.
The world's highest rated horse suffered a shock reverse last time when beaten at odds of 1/20 in the San Diego Handicap at Del Mar.
The son of Unbridled's Song has pleased trainer Bob Baffert with his work in the build up to this weekend's Grade One contest.
"He just cruised around there," Baffert told www.bloodshorse.com, having watched the final piece of major work from the Del Mar grandstand. "We're set (for Saturday)."
Regular big race partner Mike Smith was also on hand to watch the preparations and commented: "I thought he looked good. He looked happy to me."
Arrogate is the 1/2 favourite with Sky Bet ahead of Collected at 3/1 and Accelerate, the winner of the San Diego Handicap, at 5/1.
The TVG Pacific Classic is a "Win and You're In" race for the Breeders' Cup Classic (run over the same course and distance on November 4) for which Arrogate heads Sky Bet's market at 13/8.
