Anibale Fly is on course to carry top weight in next week's Randox Health Grand National.
With Bristol De Mai handed an alternative Aintree assignment, Tony Martin's charge will now shoulder 11st 10lb in the great race but is an intended runner.
"The plan is to run at the minute, all being well," said Frank Berry, racing manager to owner JP McManus. "He ran a fantastic race in the Gold Cup. Tony is happy with him.
"It's a big ask with top-weight, but hopefully he'll be doing a bit of work at the weekend and if all goes well he'll arrive there. Minella Rocco and Regal Encore will run as well."
Anibale Fly finished fourth behind Tiger Roll in last season's National and warmed up for this year's renewal with a fine second behind Al Boum Photo in the Magners Cheltenham Gold Cup.
