Whisper is in the frame for the Betway Mildmay Novices' Chase at Aintree next month.
Beaten a nose by stablemate Might Bite in an eventful RSA Chase last week, the nine-year-old is likely to return to the scene of his finest hour.
A dual winner of the Liverpool Hurdle in 2014 and 2015, Nicky Henderson has worked another of his miracles returning him to top form having seemingly lost his way.
Owner Dai Walters said: "I thought he had it won when Might Bite stopped and I even thought he'd won in the photo, but there you go.
"He owes us nothing - what a race he ran.
"Nicky is away at the moment so we haven't really spoken, but I'd imagine he'll be going to Aintree.
"He hasn't had many runs and he likes it there.
"Whether he's a King George horse I don't know, some people have said he could be one for the Gold Cup."
Walters also had Two Taffs place in the Close Brothers Handicap Chase but plans for him are less clear.
"He's still a big baby and we'll just mind him," Walters went on.
"I've told Dan (Skelton) to take all the time he needs with him."
