Free NFL betting tips, picks and predictions: Week 15 value touchdown scorers

With numerous winners in recent previews, Matt Temple-Marsh picks out his value touchdown scorers for Week 15 of NFL action.

NFL betting tips: Week 15

1pt Jalen Hurts anytime in Philadelphia Eagles v Arizona Cardinals at 9/4

1pt Brandon Aiyuk anytime in Dallas Cowboys v San Francisco 49ers at 6/4

1pt Nyheim Hines anytime in Indianapolis Colts v Houston Texans at 7/4

Sure, Dalvin Cook looks like he’ll score every single week – but at 4/11 for an anytime touchdown, the value simply isn’t there.

In this article I’ll be looking for offensive/defensive mismatches, sneaky backups and more, with some high value touchdown scorers definitely worth taking a look at.

Philadelphia Eagles v Arizona Cardinals betting tips

Love Hurts. Philadelphia know this all too well, and their new quarterback is already ticking the right boxes.

In his first start last Sunday he shocked the Saints in a win that nobody saw coming, but crucially he carried the ball 18 (yes 18!) times. He picked up a sensational 106 yards on the ground, and he faces the Cardinals this weekend.

Arizona play more man coverage than any team in the league, which is great news for mobile quarterbacks – with more open lanes past the line of scrimmage.

This price is extremely generous, I love his chances of finding the end zone.

Los Angeles Rams v New York Jets betting tips

  • When: Sunday at 21:05 GMT
  • TV: NFL Redzone on Sky Sports Mix/Free to watch on Sky Bet
  • Best bet: Cam Akers brace at 4/1

The Rams finally have an RB1 – Cam Akers.

Last week against the Patriots, Akers saw a 93.6% run share, and also managed a 12.5% target share. He went off for 171 rushing yards, and broke an array of records in the process.

We saw what he can do in a positive game script, and we can expect the same against the Jets. The Rams are fighting for the playoffs, whilst the Jets need to lose. Akers is going to run wild.

Dallas Cowboys v San Francisco 49ers betting tips

Brandon Aiyuk has been a stud throughout his rookie season, and he’s carved out a key role in this offence.

Over his past five games he’s averaged a 30% target share, and with Deebo Samuel banged up this is a great opportunity against the Cowboys.

The Dallas defence has conceded more touchdowns (22) to WRs than any team in the league, and Nick Mullens gung-ho approach will favour the passing attack.

The brace at 10/1 is very tempting, too.

Indianapolis Colts v Houston Texans betting tips

The Texans run defence is the worst in the league – they’ve conceded a league high 1,790 rushing yards to RBs, alongside 17 total touchdowns.

Now Jonathan Taylor may jump out to you as the option here, but Hines is their preferred red zone back. Over the past five weeks he’s seen 18 red zone touches, with eight of those being with just goal-to-go.

He is a threat in the passing game too, with 51 total receptions on the season. He’s going to get volume against this porous Texans defence, this is real value at 7/4.

Minnesota Vikings v Chicago Bears betting tips

I talked about Cole Kmet last week, who was unlucky to find the end zone. He saw seven targets, for the second week in a row, and also was targeted with just goal to go.

This is the fourth week in a row where he’s ran more routes than Jimmy Graham, and with Trubisky at QB the Bears are much more pass heavy.

Kmet will continue to see volume, and whilst he’s priced as a TE2 you need to capitalise on the price.
