Tom Brady and the New England Patriots bounced back from two straight defeats to dominate the Miami Dolphins 38-7 at Gillette Stadium.
Brady threw three touchdown passes, running back Sony Michel went for over 100 yards and the Patriots defence shut down QB Ryan Tannehill who had won 10 of his last 11 starts for the Dolphins - who also lost their perfect start to the season.
With New England also getting new receiver Josh Gordon on the field for the first time, things are starting to look up after a couple of weeks of misery.
Three games went to overtime and there were some dramatic late finishes on Sunday night - most notable in Atlanta where the Falcons lost in the dying second when Andy Dalton found AJ Green for a winning touchdown for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Super Bowl champions Philadelphia came unstuck again on the road as they lost in overtime against the Tennessee Titans in Nashville - thanks to a touchdown catch from Corey Davis after some brave play-calling from the hosts.
Overtime was also needed to separate the Colts and Texans in Indianapolis as Houston kicked two field goals from Ka'imi Fairburn to take the win on the road.
Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky produced some incredible form as he threw six touchdown passes in his side's dominant 48-10 success over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Soldier Field.
The Buffalo Bills upset the Minnesota Vikings last week but were brought back down to earth in Green Bay this week as they were shutout in a 22-0 victory for the Packers.
The New Orleans Saints seem to be finding their form as they dominated the Giants in New York during their 33-18 success with Alvin Kamara again the dominant player in that game.
