So many things happened in this Joel Grant goal we don't know where to start. There are two great saves, one definite handball and one thumping finish - just missing the partridge in a pear tree!

Sunday December 15

We're still at Elland Road, and one of the most bizarre incidents of the Sky Bet EFL season. Leeds scored while Aston Villa had a player down injured, and what followed afterwards was quite remarkable. As a result of this, Marcelo Bielsa's side were awarded the FIFA Fair Play Award.

Saturday December 14

Saturday's Festive offering is the end to a pulsating Sky Bet Championship play-off semi-final as Jack Marriott stuns Leeds at Elland Road by sending Frank Lampard's side through to Wembley.

We couldn't let Friday the 13th pass without bringing you a collection of bloopers. Look away now if you're a goalkeeper involved in one of these horror shows...

Thursday December 12

Nothing special about Billy Sharp's penalty you say? Maybe not, but the celebration itself deserves to be included in our countdown to Christmas as he pulled out the old Mr Socko routine made famous by WWE wrestler Mick Foley. Foley himself was a huge fan and ended up going to a game at Bramall Lane!

Wednesday December 11

On the 11th day we bring you Connor Jennings striking at the 11th hour for Tranmere in the League Two play-off final. Mike Dean went wild in the stands at Wembley as Jennings scored just a minute before the end of extra time to break Newport's hearts and send Tramere into League One.

Tuesday December 10

We all know what Jack Grealish can do, but the Aston Villa captain surprised even us when he unleashed this stinging volley against Derby County. Grealish was given the armband by Dean Smith for the first time against Derby - and my word how he celebrated in style!

Monday December 9

There can't have been too many goals scored this year better than this corker from Jonson Clarke-Harris for Bristol Rovers against Plymouth Argyle. It's Monday, and we all need a boost, so sit back and watch this effort on repeat!

Sunday, December 8

After wrapping up promotion to the Premier League, Mario Vrancic slotted home a late winner against Aston Villa to seal the Sky Bet Championship for Norwich City in May. The Canaries finished the campaign five clear at the top on 94 points.

"Promotion is the most important thing but to actually win it and to have a gold medal, we'll look back at this in 20-30 years," Krul later told BBC Radio Norfolk.

Saturday, December 7

Northampton Town's Sam Hoskins may just have scored the best goal of the year at Tranmere, with his back-heel volley right up there with anything we've seen from anyone in 2019. The creativity shown just to attempt it is one thing, to pull it off is another!

Friday, December 6

Sheffield United surprised everyone with the way they played themselves into the Premier League, and it was results, and goals, like this one from Chris Basham against promotion rivals Leeds that helped Chris Wilder's side into the promised land.

"These Charlton players write their legend!" Take a look back at the Sky Bet League One play-off final, where Charlton scored with virtually the last kick of the game...

Wednesday, December 4

Sheffield Wednesday's Fernando Forestieri gave Sky Bet Championship champions Norwich an early taste of the quality awaiting them in the Premier League, with this 40 yard stunner out of the blue.

Tuesday, December 3

The east midlands derby is one of the most hotly-contested in the EFL, and what a way to settle this one as Derby defender Jayden Bogle made an awful error in the cauldron-like atmosphere of the City Ground to allow Lewis Grabban to take full advantage and slot home a derby day winner for Nottingham Forest.

Monday, December 2

A young lad named Mason Mount caps off a beautiful Derby move with a smart finish against Bolton under the watch of a young manager named Frank Lampard. A sign of things to come in the Premier League at Chelsea...

Sunday, December 1

The month starts in style with an absolute firecracker from Tranmere's Ollie Banks. The crossbar at Prenton Park is still rattling after this effort in their League Two play-off semi-final against Forest Green.
