Crystal Palace v Newcastle

READ Jake Pearson's full preview here

Only Brighton have been awarded more than the 19 bookings that Newcastle have received this season, and though Crystal Palace’s 11 isn’t that high, they have committed the sixth most fouls in the division so far, and with Conor Gallagher in particular charging around, they are more than capable of picking up a card or two.

There have been more than three cautions shown in three of Palace’s home games this season, as well as in five of Newcastle’s eight games home and away this season.

With plenty at stake here, as well as the added incentive for the Newcastle players, backing OVER 3.5 CARDS at a top price of 19/20 makes plenty of appeal.

Score prediction: Crystal Palace 1-2 Newcastle (Sky Bet odds: 11/1)

"The value in Liverpool to beat Man Utd looks a serious bet to me" | Premier League best bets

Everton v Watford

READ Jake Pearson's full preview here

Six of Everton eight matches have seen Over 2.5 Goals priced up at odds-against, despite there being three or more goals in 50% of them, and again the overs looks to have been priced up too large.

Given matches involving both Everton and Watford see an average match total of 2.75 goals, it is highly plausible that this game goes OVER 2.5 GOALS.

Score prediction: Everton 3-1 Watford (Sky Bet odds: 12/1)

Odds correct at 1230 BST (21/10/21)

Leeds v Wolves

READ Jake Pearson's full preview here

Wolves’ average price away from home this season stands at around the 5/2 mark, and even in their last two away match, against Southampton they could be backed at bigger than 5/2, and against Aston Villa they were as big as 4/1.

The fact that this week they are 15/8 – some 10% more likely to win than they were against Aston Villa according to the layers – doesn’t sit correctly. Couple that then with the fact that Leeds are a bigger price to win at home to Wolves than they were to win at home to Everton earlier in the season, and backing a LEEDS WIN at a price of 31/20 looks the shrewd play.

Score prediction: Leeds 2-1 Wolves (Sky Bet odds: 8/1)

Odds correct at 1250 BST (21/10/21)

Southampton v Burnley

READ Joe Rindl's full preview here

Saints did the double on the Lancashire side last season winning 3-2 at St Mary's and 1-0 at Turf Moor.

I expect them to win again at home against a predictable and very average Burnley outfit.

Several bookies are offering SOUTHAMPTON TO WIN at evens. That’s the play I’ll be making.

Score prediction: Southampton 1-0 Burnley (Sky Bet odds: 11/2)

Odds correct at 1600 BST (21/10/21)

Brighton v Manchester City

Potter’s men top England’s top-flight in the number of tackles they are making with a considerably higher 19.9 across their eight games so far. They are a side unafraid to step in when trying to win back possession.

As such, it makes the BRIGHTON TO HAVE 18+ TACKLES bet an interesting one at a price of 5/4. The average means they won’t have hit that every week but they have been consistent.

The Seagulls have played five home games in all competitions this season and averaged 18.2 tackles in each.

Score prediction: Brighton 1-2 Manchester City (Sky Bet odds: 7/1)

Odds correct at 1200 BST (21/10/21)

Chelsea v Norwich

Chelsea are a strong set-piece side and it's worth backing the 11/10 on THIAGO SILVA TO HAVE 1+ SHOTS. No side has scored more than the Blues from free-kicks and corners this season.

His Premier League involvement has been limited - starting just three games so far - but he did score from two shots when they beat Tottenham in mid-September. Silva's effort against Malmo in midweek also took his Champions League shots tally to four from two starts.

Score prediction: Chelsea 3-0 Norwich (Sky Bet odds: 11/2)

Odds correct at 1400 BST (21/10/21)
