Transfer news: Paul Pogba 'likely to leave' Manchester United in the summer

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is 'likely to leave' the club in the summer, according to Sky Germany.

The World Cup winner has featured in just seven Premier League games this season as he continues to battle an ankle injury.

It is reported that Real Madrid and Juventus would be interested in signing Pogba - although Sky Germany say that the LaLiga giants are his preferred choice.

Despite that interest, Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has recently stated that his client wants to 'win prizes' with Manchester United and his club have already rejected an approach from Real.

"Paul wants to be successful and happy and wants to win prizes and he would love to do that with Manchester United," Raiola told The Telegraph.

"Okay there was big interest from Real Madrid and Manchester didn't let him go.

"We didn't make a fuss about it and he didn't make a fuss about it because I work in accordance with the player."

United are said to want to keep Pogba until the end of the season at least with a lack of replacements available to purchase in the January transfer window.

They are believed to want a fee in the region of £150m for the France international - who is currently under contract at Old Trafford until 2021.

Sky Bet make Real Madrid the 5/2 favourites to sign Pogba before February 3 - with Juventus out at 4/1.
