Arsenal 4-2 Tottenham: Aubameyang brace helps Gunners come from behind to beat north London rivals Spurs

Arsenal came from 2-1 down to beat Tottenham 4-2 in a pulsating north London derby to move above their rivals in the Premier League table.

A breathless first half saw Spurs go in ahead after each side had a penalty and Tottenham scored twice in four minutes to overcome an early goal from the Gunners.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had opened the scoring from the spot before drawing his side level in the second half after Spurs had gone in ahead thanks to Eric Dier's flick and Harry Kane's penalty.

Substitute Alexandre Lacazette put Arsenal back in front in the 74th minute, and just three minutes later the excellent Lucas Torreira fired home a fourth to complete a superb turnaround.

Jan Vertonghen was then sent off five minutes from the end to cap a miserable afternoon for the visitors, but a statement day for Unai Emery's new Arsenal side who moved above Spurs in the table on goal difference.
