Champions League last 16 draw: Man City face Real Madrid & Liverpool take on Atletico Madrid in last 16

Manchester City will play Real Madrid while defending champions Liverpool have been drawn against Atletico Madrid in the last 16 of the Champions League.

Pep Guardiola's side will face the 13-time winners Real at the Bernabeu first, with the return leg at the Etihad, while Jurgen Klopp's holders also play away first - in the same stadium where they were crownd champions in June.

All four English teams were handed tough draws, with Frank Lampard's Chelsea facing Germany giants Bayern Munich, staging the first leg at Stamford Bridge.

That tie sees a rematch of the 2012 Champions League final which Chelsea won on penalties.

Jose Mourinho's Tottenham face German side RB Leipzig in probably the easiest looking tie for the Premier League quartet - although they cannot afford to overlook Julian Nagelsmann's side and especially star striker Timo Werner.

Big guns Barcelona and PSG have escaped facing Premier League opposition, but they have no easy ties themselves as Linoel Messi and company will go to Naples to take on Napoli in the first of their two-legged tie.

Napoli may have sacked Carlo Ancelotti for their under-performing in Serie A, but they at least have Liverpool's number in the Champions League as they've beaten the current holders twice in the last two seasons.

PSG are desperate to go on a deep run in this tournament, especially after their heartbreaking loss to Man United last season, but again they face a tough task, especially in the first leg, away at Borussia Dortmund and their famous Yellow Wall.
