Tymal Mills signs a two-year contract extension with Sussex

Twenty20 specialist fast bowler Tymal Mills has signed a new two-year contract extension to stay at Sussex until at least the end of 2019.

Left-armer Mills, who has four England Twenty20 caps after making his international debut last summer, is restricted to the sprint format because of a back condition.

The 24-year-old is renowned for his extreme pace and slower-ball variations which have made him a hot property in franchise leagues around the world - including Australia's Big Bash, as well as the Indian Premier League.

Mills has been in action since the start of the current season for Royal Challengers Bangalore in his maiden IPL campaign.

He said, "I am delighted to have signed an extension with Sussex through to 2019. Ever since I've joined the club I've been welcomed with open arms and now fully regard Hove as my home.

"Even throughout all of my injuries when I first joined the club, the level of support I have received has been outstanding, and I am looking to repay that support over the next three seasons."
