Stuart Poynter hit a dramatic match-winning six off the final ball as Ireland beat Holland by one wicket in the Quadrangular T20I Series in Oman.
The Irish had needed 12 off the last over, with three wickets in hand, to overhaul the Dutch side's 182 for nine. Poynter ensured they got there after the dismissals of Joshua Little and Boyd Rankin.
Ireland's successful chase was built on a second-wicket partnership of 86 between Andrew Balbirnie (83 from 50 balls) and Kevin O'Brien (46 from 30). Earlier, Tobias Visee top-scored for Holland with 78 while Ireland's Stuart Thompson took four for 18.
Victory ensured Ireland's competition ended on a winning note but it was not enough for them to overtake Holland in the standings.
