Joe Joyce claimed a first round knockout of Donnie Palmer in 38 seconds at York Hall in London's Bethnal Green on Saturday.
The 32-year-old British heavyweight made light work of this American opponent after landing a series of punches, with the referee waving off the fight after giving Palmer a standing count.
The victory meant Joyce remained undefeated as the 2016 Olympic super-heavyweight silver medallist and claimed his third win in the paid ranks.
"I was quite surprised. A lot of people are ducking me like (Dereck) Chisora but I was quite surprised when I landed that right hand," Joyce told Channel 5.
"The work I did in the gym has obviously paid off tonight and I've got that great rotation and explosion on his head. I hit him with some force and he was down."
