Mikey Garcia will step up in weight to face Adrien Broner on July 29, it has been confirmed.
Three-weight world champion Garcia will move up to super-lightweight (140lbs) to meet Broner, a former world champion in four weight divisions.
Unbeaten Garcia remains the WBC lightweight champion but is moving up in weight for the second time in three fights, after an 18-month absence from the ring.
Garcia (36-0) claimed his third world title in a third different division with a brutal knockout of Dejan Zlaticanin in January.
Broner (33-2) recently held the WBA super-lightweight title - the division in which he will next fight Garcia - but was stripped of the belt prior to beating Londoner Ashley Theophane because he missed weight.
Broner's last fight was a split decision win over Adrian Granados contested at welterweight (147lbs).
The location for Garcia vs Broner is yet to be confirmed.
