Joe Cordina marked his professional debut with an impressive fourth-round stoppage victory over Jose Aguilar.
The Welsh super-featherweight (pictured) has followed a number of his fellow Team GB fighters into the paid ranks and began a busy schedule by halting Aguilar in Liverpool.
Cordina worked behind a stiff jab in the opening round and soon displayed his talent.
His tough Nicaraguan opponent had previously gone the distance with Charlie Edwards, but was being outgunned by Cordina, who unloaded crunching combinations in the second round.
There would be no respite for Aguilar in the third, with Cordina sending out his hurtful right hand as he stalked for openings, and the referee watched on with concern.
Cordina prompted the intervention of the official in the fourth as a flurry of punches forced the fight to be waved off.
