Kell Brook's says memories of being a world title challenger will steer him past Errol Spence Jr this weekend.
Brook travelled to America to take Shawn Porter's IBF welterweight title three years ago and will now defend it in his home city of Sheffield against Spence Jr.
"I'm in with a serious dude from America. He's a young, hungry lion but he's not been in with anyone like me," Brook told Sky Sports News HQ at Wednesday's public work-outs.
"I'm a champion. I've been a challenger and been to the champion's back garden, then defended it. I know what it's like on both sides of the coin."
Brook conceded that there is pressure to complete a fourth defence of his belt in his home city, but expects that to trigger an inspired performance against first-time world title challenger Spence Jr.
"It does put pressure on but I always perform better," he said. "I'm meant to be on the big stage so I'm ready for that pressure. I'm ready to see those bright lights.
"I am going to draw some serious energy from these guys. They're coming to a great event, and I'm ready.
"I am Steel City, I am Sheffield born and bred. I've got all my people behind me 100 percent. We're going to rock Sheffield on Saturday night."
