Precise (4/1) led home a one-two for Aidan O'Brien in the Tattersalls Irish 1000 Guineas at the Curragh.
Ryan Moore rode Precise to finish seventh in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket, won by Wayne Lordan and True Love, where she was sent off the 9/5 favourite but jumped ship to the English Classic winner in Ireland and was left cursing his decision.
True Love was sent off the 4/6 favourite and raced on the rail behind Abashiri and everything appeared to be going to plan when runners dropped away, leaving Moore with plenty of racing room.
True Love battled past eventual third Abashiri but widest of all on the track, Precise was motoring home under Lordan from the rear of the field.
Having left the challengers in the centre of the track trailing in her wake, Precise drifted to her right to join True Love but she didn't lose any momentum and her stablemate couldn't live with her finishing burst with Precise running out an impressive two-and-a-half length winner while just half-a-length separated the places.

Discover Sporting Life Plus BenefitsPrecise was bred by O'Brien and his family and he spoke of his delight on Racing TV.
"It's very special obviously, she's a home-bred mare and it's very exciting. She was very special last year and just about made the Guineas [at Newmarket; all the people around her and at home make it happen, a lot of hard work goes in. It's very difficult to breed a Classic winner, it's next to impossible but when it happens it's a dream.
"We knew there was masses of improvement and in all fairness to poor Ryan, it was very difficult. Delighted for Wayne, he gave her an unbelievable ride, very cool; he was super cool on her.
"Ryan didn't ride Wayne's filly at Newmarket because he couldn't be sure she'd stay and you couldn't be sure until she did it but she ran and she won so he had to ride her this time but we knew there was going to be terrible progress from this filly. When Ryan rode her in Newmarket, he was on the other side and his side were further back than they should have been so Ryan had to move early on her to make up the ground and because he moved early and because she needed the run, she got a little bit tired and he minded her the last half a furlong.
"She came out of the race very well and Roger who rides her every day said to me this morning 'this filly has improved so much it's hard to believe' so we knew it was possible that this would happen.
"There was an even pace, it wasn't mad, but Wayne said when he started to move on her and put her into top gear she just took off and that she ran through the line.
"She could go back to Epsom in two weeks. It would be very exciting and another very difficult decision for Ryan because Amelia [Earhart] is in there and nearly favourite for the Oaks. Will she get a mile and a half? You don't know until you try it but she's out a Galileo mare with a lot of stamina in her pedigree so there's every chance she would even though she's by Starspangledbanner."
Having been as big as 12/1 for the Epsom Oaks with Paddy Power and Sky Bet, Precise is now their 5/2 joint-favourite alongside Amelia Earhart.
