I'm very sweet on the chances of Fashion Queen in the opener at York on Wednesday. She won a Listed race at the track last season and was back to form when second at Deauville last time. This is her first start in a handicap and I think she'll run a huge race from a mark of 98.
Poet's Word can justify favouritism in the Juddmonte International. He brings rock-solid Group One form to the table following wins in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes and King George at Ascot. He sets the benchmark for all he's in against a star-studded field including the likes of Coral-Eclipse first and second Roaring Lion and Saxon Warrior.
