Ding Junhui loses to Robert Milkins in snooker's Hong Rui Ma Yushan World Open

Defending champion Ding Junhui crashed out of the Hong Rui Ma Yushan World Open, losing 5-4 to Robert Milkins.

Neil Robertson and Judd Trump also lost in Wednesday's second round on a day of upsets in China.

Robertson lost out 5-3 to Ricky Walden, with Trump beaten by the same scoreline against Gary Wilson.

Milkins' last-16 opponent will be Marco Fu, who edged out Andrew Higginson 5-4. Walden will meet David Gilbert, a 5-3 winner against Ali Carter, while Gary Wilson's reward for ousting Trump is a clash with Fergal O'Brien.

Jack Lisowski sent Mark Allen packing 5-1, to tee up a meeting with Kyren Wilson, who accounted for Harvey Chandler 5-3.

World number one Mark Selby saw off Jamie Jones 5-2, and will take on Noppon Saengkham after the Thai beat Ryan Day 5-2.
