Deryck Baker Memorial Mares' Handicap Hurdle

Twice a winner around this time last year, including at this track, but recent return from 11 months off was short on encouragement. She now switches back to hurdles with blinkers tried for the first time which may help spark a return to form.

Didn't take to chasing but returned to hurdles with a win in 6-runner handicap at Doncaster in February. She's been well beaten on last 2 starts, however, and needs to bounce back trying a longer trip.

Placed in a bumper and maiden hurdles for Willie Mullins but first couple of outings for this yard haven't suggested she's got much in hand off this mark and she's upped further in trip here.

Responded well to first-time blinkers when won 8-runner handicap hurdle at Taunton (3m, good) 25 days ago. She rallied to get back up for that success and even longer trip should suit on that evidence so she looks to have been found a good opportunity from 3 lb higher mark.

Dunaden mare who was successful in points but has gone backwards from relatively promising Rules debut and needs progress for the longer trip and first-time cheekpieces on handicap debut.
