Adare Manor Opportunity Maiden Hurdle

Blue Bresil gelding. Dam, unraced, closely related to 2m-2½m hurdler/chase winner Howyabud. Confirmed the promise he showed on debut when winning a bumper (despite trouble in running) at Sligo in August. Respected now sent hurdling, for all he has concede weight to the field.

Unplaced both starts in points and only showed a bit more than on hurdle debut when 300/1, seventh of 13 in a maiden at Downpatrick last time.

Struggled from a stiff-looking opening mark on reappearance/handicap debut at Ayr in early-February but returns from a short break in first-time cheekpieces, having hit the frame in multiple maidens last year.

Ridden with an eye to the future on debut at Downpatrick and was sent off as an 80/1 shot when falling 3 out at Fairyhouse (16.5f) subsequently.

Fairly useful hurdler for Joseph O'Brien who ran his best race over fences/for current yard when third (finishing with running left) at Navan last time, and he has leading claims on return to hurdles.

Shaped with more encouragement than he did in bumpers when runner-up in a first-time tongue strap on hurdle debut at Clonmel. Entitled to improve for that experience and should be in the mix for his powerful yard.

Improved again when close second in a 3m maiden at Cork last time. The drop back in trip is unlikely to be a problem given how he travelled that day and this low-mileage 7-y-o needs considering.

Flat-bred gelding didn't progress from his debut, despite showing up well for a long way, when seventh of 18 in a maiden hurdle at Gowran (2m) in November.

Made more impact than previously (without necessarily improving) when third of 12 in a weak Clonmel maiden, but this looks a better race.

Affinisea gelding. Brother to poor 2m chase winner Walk The Plank. Pulled up sole start in points and doesn't look an obvious type starting out under Rules.
