Dual AW winner for Rebecca Menzies last summer who has continued the good work for new yard, successful twice at Newcastle prior to going in again at Catterick (12f) in April. Solid efforts in defeat have followed and he merits respect again.
Maiden who posted best effort yet when runner-up in first-time blinkers at Windsor (11.5f) in April. Never figured on firmer ground next time but better than bare result when sixth in 15-runner Newbury handicap (12f) 8 days ago. Mark has eased further.
On a lengthy losing run and he proved more miss than hit on Flat/over hurdles for Brian Ellison last year. Easy to back and never figured after wind op for new yard at Thirsk 2 weeks ago and tongue tie re-fitted now.
Kingman gelding who confirmed previous promise to open account at third attempt in a Wolverhampton maiden (12.2f) in December. Not disgraced when midfield on handicap debut at Ascot (12f) 2 weeks ago and claims in these calmer waters.
Improved with each outing in novice events, comfortably on top at the line over 12f at Kempton in January. Similar form when fourth of 7 on handicap debut at that venue in September but still low-mileage and returns from a break with yard in good order.
Doubled tally at 1¼m when scoring on return at the Lincoln meeting in March. Continued in good heart since, no extra late on having come from further back than pair that beat him at Ripon (9.7f) 15 days ago. Up in trip.
Building up a solid record on the Flat, justifying support to defy a 12-month absence to land 4-runner Bath handicap (11.6f) 3 weeks ago. That was only a thin race but that may not prove his limit over this sort of trip.
Regained winning thread over 1¼m at Ayr in August prior to making the frame next 3 starts. Ended the campaign below best but he's still low-mileage at around this trip and interesting what the market makes of him on return.
Doubled his tally during a busy 2021 at Catterick (12f) in September and far from disgraced final 2 starts at that venue. Present mark probably within reach but he may need the run on return.
Didn't kick on from a promising reappearance run at Chester last spring but back on track on AW of late, beaten only by a handicap debutant at Kempton (2m) 17 days ago. On a handy mark back on turf and interesting in first-time cheekpieces.
8-y-o mare who landed a couple of handicap hurdles during second half of last year. Below best back on the level at Hamilton (9f) 2 weeks ago and others arrive with more pressing claims.

Forecasts
Songo (4/1), Carlos Felix (9/2), Screaming Petrus (5/1), Colinton (11/2), Gustav Holst (11/2), Wots The Wifi Code (11/1), L'Enclume (12/1), Innse Gall (16/1), Eye Knee (20/1), Set In Stone (33/1), Baltic Baron (66/1)
Plenty arrive with claims in the opener, and it may pay to side with CARLOS FELIX. He's fallen to a handy mark and arrives on the back of a string of consistent efforts on all-weather, while first-time cheekpieces may well put an extra edge on him back on turf. There could be more to come from low-mileage 6-y-o Songo who is feared, along with Gustav Holst and Wots The Wifi Code.
