Won back-to-back races in June and has been running some fair races in defeat since, including over C&D last time. First-time cheekpieces may eke out more improvement.
Has been in good form since joining this yard, winning two races earlier in the campaign before two respectable efforts in defeat over C&D from his last three outings. Needs a bit more to defy this mark though and wide draw not ideal.
Runs all his best races with plenty of cut in the ground and a quicker surface has been a valid excuse on many of his outings this campaign. Handicap mark is workable and he has run okay over this sort of trip in the past.
Has won twice for this yard with both those wins coming on AW but he's been very poor on his return to turf, failing to beat a rival home on his last couple of outings. Hard to fancy on recent evidence.
Made a very promising start to his career but has become a little inconsistent in recent times and he's been well beaten on his five starts this time around. Often slowly away and hard to have much faith in at present.
Ran with plenty of promise in a trio of maidens, getting his head in front at short odds on the third start at Newcastle. Proved he was effective on turf when winning in good style on handicap debut at Doncaster and an 8lb rise looks fair.
Won three of his eight starts when trained by John Gosden and the latest of those efforts at Newmarket was a game performance. Doesn't always look entirely straightforward but less miles on the clock than many in here. Starts out for new yard.
Showed very little on his first two starts but bolted up on his third outing when winning by 9L at Salisbury in first-time blinkers. Hard to know what the form is worth and the handicapper hasn't taken any chances but more progress on the cards.
Course winner who has been in good form since joining this yard and far from disgraced in some decent races on his last few outings. Widest draw not ideal here though and this looks competitive but tends to run well at this course.
Has found some form in recent starts and arrives here bidding for a hat-trick after wins at Redcar and Doncaster. Has never been the most reliable but a 3lb rise for his latest effort has to be considered fair and he warrants respect.
Not won since winning his maiden in good style when trained by William Haggas. Doesn't look the most straightforward type and he was very disappointing last time out back at the scene of his only success. Plenty to prove at present.
Unlucky to still be a maiden having run well in defeat on several of his starts. Hard to know why he under-performed at Pontefract last time out but probably worth forgiving that effort and he's less exposed than most in here.
Has won three of his 11 starts for this yard that have included a course win and a success last time out at Ripon. Looked well positioned that day and has more on his plate here from a 5lb higher mark.
Won at Wetherby earlier in the campaign but has struggled up in class since. This is even tougher but he's versatile with regards ground and the step back up in trip is in his favour. Not without a place chance.
Won on debut but he's returned a beaten short priced favourite on each of his next three starts. A shade disappointing on handicap debut last time and while it's too soon to be writing him off, others make more appeal here.
Recorded a hat-trick on his first three starts for this yard but the handicapper would appear to have caught up with him now. Needs a clear career best to have any chance here.
Plenty of promise in a trio of maiden efforts to date. Has a first crack at this trip and with a fair chance of improvement here (bred to stay this far) he's certainly one worth considering. Seems relatively versatile with regards ground.
Looked useful at one stage as a juvenile and returned to form with a win at Ripon last time out. Needs more now 4lb higher and probably needs soft in the going description to be seen at his best.
Has won twice in 13 starts and both wins have come here. Only 2lb above his last winning mark but he probably wouldn't want any significant rain to arrive on the evidence of his career to date.
Forecasts
Give It Some Teddy (7/1), Rock Force (8/1), Addis Ababa (8/1), Mooltazem (9/1), Rise Hall (10/1), International Man (10/1), Roddy (10/1), Rhosneigr (12/1), Framley Garth (14/1), Francis Xavier (16/1), Hasanoanda (16/1), Thomas Cranmer (16/1), Daawy (20/1), Red Charmer (20/1), King's Pavilion (25/1), Swift Emperor (25/1), Andok (25/1), Music Seeker (33/1), Maratha (66/1)
RISE HALL looked like a potentially smart three-year-old capable of progressing through the handicap ranks throughout the remainder of the season last time out and the son of Frankel may have even more to come over this longer trip. King's Pavilion is one that is sure to appreciate the rain that's forecast and Rock Force can't be ruled out with the step up in trip likely to suit.
- Rise Hall
- King's Pavilion
