Has been consistent throughout this season, winning first time back at Haydock (1m2f, good to firm) and placed all starts since, including over C&D from 3lb lower in July. Each-way claims again, but more needed to win from this mark.
Won at Windsor (1m, good to soft) this time last year from 9lb lower, but several placed efforts on the All Weather has seen the handicapper reluctant to drop him back down the ratings and he looks in need of that before winning again.
0-7, though has been runner-up in two maidens and a handicap, the latter from this mark at Chelmsford. Well beaten last time, so has to come back from that, and now steps up to this trip in the hope of inducing improvement.
Scored over this trip at Newbury (good) in July and after two placed runs on softer ground, he added another win back on good ground at Salisbury (1m) last time. Up 8lb for that ready 3L success, but very much an improver and will be tough to beat.
Made a successful return to this trip at Beverley (good to soft) in July, when the front pair had 6L to spare. However, he ran inexplicably badly at Ayr last time from 1lb higher than today. Has to come back from that, but claims if at his best.
Came good at the third attempt when taking a modest Nottingham maiden (1m½f, heavy) last month, though he did it nicely enough. Now goes handicapping upped to a trip that should suit and from a very fair mark. Interesting with yard in form.
16-1 or bigger in all three maiden starts over this trip and has not yet finished within 10L of the winner. Initial handicap mark looks stiff enough on what he has shown, but a market check would nonetheless be worthwhile.
Dream Machine is clearly a good yardstick at this level and again has frame claims, while Snookered has claims if he can perform to the level of his Beverley success and put his Ayr run behind him. Swaffham Bulbeck could be well treated for his handicap debut and could go close, though preference is for HAWRIDGE GLORY, who is a proven handicap winner as well as being an improver and he should continue to be followed.
