Sole success came in an Ayr maiden (6f, good) two seasons ago, but the handicapper has had his measure since. Has now slipped to a mark from which he should be capable of having an impact and positive market vibes would make him very interesting.
Ended a long losing at York last October (1m, good) when wearing first-time blinkers and rated 95. Eight further defeats have seen him slip to a mark 7lb lower than that latest success, which makes him dangerous, especially with cut in the ground.
Has done all of his winning at left-handed tracks, although has run well here in defeat. Has a good record in autumn/on softer ground and at 1lb lower than his last win at Redcar in October, he could be about to return to form.
Best turf form has been with cut in the ground, though he hasn't won since 2015. Several competitive efforts in defeat last year kept the handicapper interested, but he is now 1lb lower than his last win and has his best chance for some time.
Both his wins have been on good ground and his form with any cut underfoot has to be a concern going into this. Also looks thoroughly exposed and has plenty to prove in this field.
In cracking form with three wins from his last four starts. Up another 4lb for scoring at Redcar (1m) last time, so has questions to answer there. Also, although he has won on good to soft, he has so far not fired on genuine soft ground.
Well held last time at Thirsk, but prior to that he had been very competitive in defeat this season, including when ½L runner-up over C&D (good to soft) in June from today's mark. Each-way claims at least on that evidence.
Both his wins have been on good to soft/soft ground, so he gets his optimum conditions here. However, he is 4lb higher than when scoring over 7f at the track in July and he looks to have each-way claims at best judged on his last two starts.
Seemed to act well enough on soft on debut and won her maiden on good to soft. Was competitive from 1lb higher at Newmarket this time last year, but only seen once this season and has race fitness to prove after four months off.

Saint Equiano (4/1), King's Pavilion (9/2), Zodiakos (9/2), Gurkha Friend (6/1), Mohab (7/1), Father Bertie (7/1), Candelisa (15/2), Instant Attraction (8/1), Highland Colori (12/1), Lavetta (12/1), Clef (25/1)
Highland Colori loves to get his toe in and from a mark 7lb lower than his last win he looks quite an attractive proposition again. Father Bertie has his conditions too and looks to be back on a handy mark, while King's Pavilion is another with claims. A better showing from Candelisa would not surprise, though preference is for his older stable companion INSTANT ATTRACTION, who has his best chance for some considerable time and goes well on soft ground.
