Won three times last year (6f, 7f, 1m), progressing nicely to win the third of those at Newcastle from a mark of 95. Was kept on the go all winter out at Meydan and was beaten only 1¼L in a better race than this at Chester (7½f, good) two starts ago from 1lb lower. Beaten in a Newmarket Listed event last time but back at this level he is a player.
Dual 6f scorer (good to firm and good to soft) last season and also went close to winning the Premier Yearling Stakes at York (6f, good to firm) in August. Yet to win a handicap, but went close at Chelmford (7f, AW) last month and found one too good in a better race at Ascot (7f) last time. Up a further 3lb for that and further improvement needed.
Well placed to win four and be placed in four of his 14 starts. Scored at both Chelmsford (1m) and Lingfield (1m) on the All Weather in the winter, though the handicapper took his measure at both Musselburgh and Chester in better company since then. Now back to his last winning mark and in this grade, he has claims from a decent draw.
Chinned on the line at Doncaster (1m, good to firm) earlier in the month from 4lb lower, having added to his Wolverhampton maiden win from December with success at Chelmsford (1m) on his handicap debut in April. Still very much going the right way and has to enter calculations with continued improvement likely.
Has found only one opponent too good in his four starts, scoring on debut in January at Lingfield and after that reverse (at Newcastle on his handicap debut), he has progressed to claim two such contests at Chelmsford (1m) and Yarmouth (1m, good to firm) last time. Up 6lb again here and steps up in class, but taking good strides forward and well drawn.
Backed up a Windsor maiden win (6f, good to firm) with success on his handicap debut at Newbury (7f, good to soft) in September. Improved for his return run this time when beaten just a short head on being stepped up to 1m at Ascot (good to firm) last time. Now up a further 2lb, so more required from wide draw.
Landed a Lingfield maiden (7f) in December on his second start and came back well after a break to win when fresh at Leicester (7f, good to firm) on his handicap debut earlier this month. The third and fourth have not done wonders for that form on their next starts and with an 8lb rise here he might be vulnerable.
Returned fresh and ready and claimed a second career win at Musselburgh last month (1m, good to firm) from 3lb lower, when sent off at 16/1. Couldn't get competitive at the business end from today's mark at Sandown last time and will need to improve on that to figure here.
Progressed last season to pick up a Kempton maiden (7f, AW) on his third start. Held in both class two and class four events over 1m at Sandown and Ascot this term and now dropped 2lb. Blinkers may help, but has a little bit to prove after his latest effort.
Has appeared to show improved form since being gelded in the autumn, winning two of his next four starts, including at Newbury (1m, soft) last weekend. Front pair were almost 4L clear there and he has gone up 7lb as a result, but going the right way and handles fast ground.
Won an auction maiden at Thirsk on debut (7f, good to firm) in August and went close on his handicap debut at Doncaster (1m, good) from a mark of 78 in October. 2lb higher today and his two runs at Musselburgh and Newmarket this time suggest that he has a bit to find from out of the handicap.

Forecasts
Mustarrid (7/2), Rusumaat (11/2), Indian Dandy (11/2), Private Mission (11/2), Maths Prize (6/1), Naval Warfare (7/1), Graphite Storm (15/2), Areen Heart (8/1), Society Red (9/1), Fire Brigade (12/1), Masham Star (14/1), First Up (16/1), Medieval (16/1), Mailshot (20/1), Cullingworth (20/1)
Fire Brigade should go well despite a 7lb rise for this, though he has a wide draw to overcome, while Private Mission looks likely to need improvement after going up 8lb for his Leicester win, given what has happened to some of those beaten since. Areen Heart is weighted to be close to MASHAM STAR again, though Richard Fahey's colt is drawn out by the East Lancs Road and it is Mark Johnston's better drawn runner who can confirm their Chester form. Mailshot is another sent out from Middleham who should be heavily involved, while cases can be made for Indian Dandy, Mustarrid, Medieval and Naval Warfare in a hot betting heat.
