Won here over 1m6f last year from a mark of 65. 2lb higher today and comes into this after a decent pipe-opener in context. Tongue strap now added to cheek pieces and dropped in trip. Good performance entirely possible.
1lb higher than when scoring at Southwell over 7f a couple of years ago, though comfortably accounted for at that track over 1m last time. Looks to have an onerous task at these weights and has to prove he gets this marked step up in trip.
Not the force he had been up to a couple of years ago and does have a C&D win to his name from 2013. Lengthy losing run has rarely looked like coming to an end, even in claimers, and cheek pieces now swapped for a visor in the hope of a revival.
Got his nose in front last time from 3lb lower, breaking his duck at the 15th attempt. Turf form from last summer suggests that he may be able to cope with this rise and a follow-up cannot be ruled out.
Handicap debutant who has a good draw, though the look of his maiden form suggests that he will do well to be winning first time in this sphere. Watching brief advised.
Placed on all of her last three starts, all from today's mark. Has C&D winning form to his name and one of the more consistent performers of late, so can probably set our clocks by another competitive effort.
Same mark as when winning over this trip at Southwell last time. Still unexposed over the trip and provided she handles this surface better than she did on her only previous try, she will take a bit of beating.

LADY TURPIN won with a bit in hand over this trip at Southwell last time out and if she acts as well on this surface then she looks to have a good chance of following up. Dunquin is another arriving on the back of a win and is not ruled out in trying to defy a penalty, while Surround Sound and Consortium can fight out the minors.
