It's the Clarence House Chase at Ascot this weekend, the race in which Shishkin and Energumene produced one of the most exciting finishes in decades 12 months ago.
The two steeplechasing heavyweights put their unbeaten records over fences on the line ahead of the SBK-backed contest and just over four unforgettable minutes later, it was Nicky Henderson's Shishkin who emerged triumphant.
Timeform subsequently awarded the winner a rating of 181p, making him the firm’s top-rated jumper in training at the time - and taking him beyond former stablemate Altior's peak career rating of 180p.
It will go down in history as one of the great head-to-head jumping classics, alongside the likes of Arkle v Mill House, Desert Orchid v Panto Prince and Denman v Kauto Star, while it also left racing fans thirsty for a rematch at Cheltenham two months later.
Energumene went on to gain his revenge in the Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Festival, though odds-on favourite Shishkin was struggling from an early stage and was pulled-up by Nico De Boinville.
