And as an extra bonus, former star jockey and current trainer Johnny Murtagh has been added to the panel.

All ticket revenue will go straight to Racing Welfare. Ticket holders will also be sent a digital brochure in advance of the evening featuring exclusive content from Donn McClean on the Irish challenge, as well as a guide for the preview event.
The panel have generously donated their time, to help set the scene and mark the cards of what will be a select audience with capacity limited to just 1,000 tickets. The event has been generously sponsored by Sporting Life with each of the panel being given £100 charity bets courtesy of the sponsor with all winning returns going to Racing Welfare.
Despite taking place behind closed doors, Royal Ascot promises to be as big a racing bonanza as ever with 36 races scheduled to take place across 5 days starting on Tuesday 16th June. With the usual mix of outstanding Group action and some of the most competitive handicaps of the year it really will be unmissable.
Sky Bet/Sporting Life Head of Sports PR, Michael Shinners, was quick to give his backing to Racing Welfare, saying: “Sporting Life are delighted to support the Racing Welfare Royal Ascot Preview Evening. It looks set to be an excellent evening and hopefully the panel will be able to point viewers in the directions of a few winners.”
Racing Welfare’s Chief Executive, Dawn Goodfellow, praised the association, saying: “We are really thrilled to have partnered with Sporting Life for the preview evening which promises to be a fabulous event in the run up to Royal Ascot. It’s a great opportunity for us to continue our fundraising activities in a new and exciting way and we are really looking forward to the evening. I’d also like to express thanks to all of our guest panellists for showing their support for Racing Welfare by being part of the event.”
