Deauville fends off Poet's Word

Racing UK are broadcasting the Arlington Million card live on Saturday night as ten European-trained horses chase glory in three Grade One races.

Circus Couture (Jane Chapple-Hyam), Century Dream (Simon Crisford) and Deauville (Aidan O'Brien) line up for the feature race, the Arlington Million (12.08am), while Athena (O'Brien) goes in the Grade Beverly D Stakes (11.25pm), in which she will face Nyaleti (Mark Johnston).

O'Brien has two of the five Irish entries in the Secretariat Stakes (10.48pm) in Hunting Horn and Lucius Tiberius. The others are Bandua (Dermot Weld), Ming (Joseph O'Brien) and Platinum Warrior (Mick Halford).
