One Sky Bet customer won just short of £50,000 thanks to a Southwell multiple where he had five out of six winners on Tuesday.
The punter would’ve won over £400,000 had his other selection, Eurato, won, but victories for Dusty Blue, Deep Resolve, Showboating, Fossa and Viva Verglas still ensured a handsome payout.
Sky Bet spokesman Michael Shinners said: “We were hoping for an uneventful day given the action on offer with Cheltenham just around the corner, but this customer made sure that wasn’t the case with an inspired multi.
“You have to take your hat off to him, those results took some finding and to get five out of six on a tough card was impressive.
“Hopefully this isn’t a sign of things to come next week!”
