David Ord heads to Taunton for the Sporting Life Daily Nap on Thursday and he's siding with a Philip Hobbs-trained chaser.

Sporting Life Daily Nap, December 12

FROM THE HEART made an encouraging start over fences when second at Huntingdon and can claim a first career victory in the Dave Criddle Travel & Bristol Airport Novices' Handicap Chase.

Richard Johnson takes over in the saddle aboard Philip Hobbs' charge who stayed on strongly from the rear of the field last time without managing to land a blow to winner Master Vintage.

He'll be sharper for the outing and is 12 pounds below his peak mark over hurdles.

It's an open contest and Hurricane Arcadio is feared having narrowly failed to land a gamble at Wincanton last time but the selection appeals as a potential improver under the champion jockey - and a well handicapped one too.
