Richard Mann is back in the Nap hot-seat for Wednesday's selection and he heads to Kempton for the bet of the day.
Sporting Life Daily Nap, December 12
NAP: Times Past (4.15 Kempton)
Times Past rates the best bet of the day on Wednesday and is fancied to make it two wins on the bounce in the 32Red On The App Store Nursery Handicap at Kempton.
Archie Watson certainly knows the time of day with his juveniles and Times Past gave signal that he is a horse on the upgrade when opening his account over this trip at Southwell last month.
The son of Dandy Man had already finished second here at Kempton and at Chelmsford earlier in his career so certainly had plenty of solid form in the book before breaking his duck with a game performance on the fibresand.
Like so many from Watson's Saxon Gate base, Times Past displayed a really good attitude on that occasion, disputing the lead for much of the way before fighting off persistent challengers all the way up the straight to score by a head.
His improvement shouldn't stop there and given the horse he beat last time, Zip, ran another fine race at Southwell on Tuesday, there is every reason to think a 2lb rise in the weights for Times Past is a shade lenient.
As such, he looks well worth sticking with.

NAP: Luxford 8.15 Chelmsford
Luxford was a huge eyecatcher on her first start for Gary Moore last time and looks the best bet of the day in division one of the Book Tickets At chelmsfordcityracecourse.com Handicap.
She thundered home for second behind Ainne last time and has slipped six pounds below her last winning mark now.
Clearly she's dangerously-well handicapped for an excellent new yard and is a previous course and distance winner, too.
There should be the strong pace she needs and she rates a cracking bet.
