1330 JLT Novices' Chase

Defi Du Seuil and Lostintranslation will renew rivalry in the JLT Novices' Chase at Cheltenham on Thursday.

Colin Tizzard's Lostintranslation secured a narrow victory when the pair met in the Dipper Novices' Chase at Cheltenham on New Year's Day, but the Philip Hobbs-trained Defi Du Seuil turned the tables in last month's Scilly Isles at Sandown.

That duo dispute favouritism for this two-and-a-half-mile Grade One, with a field of 10 runners set to go to post.

Willie Mullins has saddled four of the eight previous winners of this event and fires a three-pronged assault.

Real Steel appears the Irish champion trainer's main hope ahead of stable companions Voix Du Reve and Pravalaguna.

Gordon Elliott's Mengli Khan is a fourth Irish challenger.

The Paul Nicholls-trained Capeland, Ben Pauling's Kildisart, Kim Bailey's Vinndication and Castafiore from Charlie Longsdon's yard complete the field.

1410 Pertemps Network Final

Jessica Harrington's Walk To Freedom heads a maximum field of 24 runners for the first handicap on day three of the Festival - the Pertemps Final.

Leading contenders include Elliott's Sire Du Berlais, First Assignment - trained by Ian Williams - and the Hobbs-trained dual Chepstow scorer Samburu Shujaa.

1450 Ryanair Chase

Stable companions Footpad and Un De Sceaux are among 12 horses declared for the Ryanair Chase at Cheltenham.

Footpad was the undoubted star of the two-mile novice chasing division last season - winning each of his five starts, including the Arkle Trophy at Prestbury Park last March.

The current campaign has not gone to plan thus far - with the seven-year-old falling on his seasonal debut at Naas before being mowed down late by Simply Ned at Leopardstown over Christmas - but he is still the clear favourite for Thursday's two-mile-five-furlong Grade One.

Willie Mullins also runs the admirable Un De Sceaux - winner of this race in 2017 but beaten at odds-on by Balko Des Flos in last year's renewal.

Balko Des Flos is back to defend his crown as one of three runners for Henry de Bromhead - the others being recent Red Mills Chase winner Monalee and outsider Sub Lieutenant.

Road To Respect is a leading contender for Noel Meade after connections elected against a second tilt at the Magners Cheltenham Gold Cup - in which he finished fourth last year.

Eddie Harty's Coney Island and Gordon Elliott's The Storyteller complete a formidable Irish challenge.

The home team is made up of the Paul Nicholls-trained Frodon, Venetia Williams' Aso, Nicky Henderson's Terrefort and Charbel from Kim Bailey's yard.

1530 Sun Racing Stayers' Hurdle

Paisley Park faces 17 rivals as he bids to confirm his status as a tip-top performer with victory in the Sun Racing Stayers' Hurdle at Cheltenham on Thursday.

The Emma Lavelle-trained seven-year-old has taken everything before him so far this season with an unbeaten run of four.

After starting off fairly low key at Aintree in October, Paisley Park won a valuable handicap at Haydock before going on to Grade One glory in the JLT Hurdle at Ascot.

The final piece of the jigsaw was him scoring over three miles at Cheltenham in the Cleeve Hurdle in January when he scooted up by 12 lengths from West Approach.

The latter re-opposes for the Colin Tizzard stable who also have Kilbricken Storm, winner of the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle last year.

Faugheen, the 2015 Champion Hurdle hero, is one of four runners from the Willie Mullins yard along with Bacardys, Bapaume and Coquin Mans.

Jessica Harrington's Supasundae, runner-up 12 months ago, and Petit Mouchoir, from Henry de Bromhead's stable, are the other Irish challengers.

Wholestone, who was third last year, tries again for local trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies, while others in the line-up include Black Op, Sam Spinner and Top Notch.

1610 Brown Advisory & Merriebelle Stable Plate

Nicky Henderson's pair of Janika and River Wylde are the top two in the weights for the 24-runner Brown Advisory & Merribelle Stable Plate.

1650 National Hunt Breeders Mares' Novices' Hurdle

The Seven Barrows maestro also has a strong hand in the National Hunt Breeders Supported By Tattersalls Mares' Novices' Hurdle, with short-priced favourite Epatante joined by Lust For Glory and Elusive Belle.

Mullins has won the three previous runnings of this Grade Two with Limini, Let's Dance and Laurina and is responsible for seven of the 22 runners this year, including includes Sancta Simona and My Sister Sarah.
