Cheltenham Festival tips: 5.30 Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle

Check out Man On The Spot's tip for the next race at Cheltenham, plus details of Sky Bet's offer for the race.

5.30 Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle

This isn’t the ideal getting-out stakes. Gordon Elliott runs six and the market will probably be a good guide but HOLLOW GAMES drops into handicap company having contested Grade 1 races the last twice and must have strong claims. Au Fleuron is also making his handicap debut but he was beaten by Banbridge on similar terms at Navan and has disappointed since.

Chemical Energy has been rested since winning at Fairyhouse in November but The Goffer has been improving in leaps and bounds and easily won a Grade 3 at Thurles last month so looks a threat. Adamantly Chosen is preferred to the returning Five O'clock of the Mullins pair but Langer Dan is 2lb higher than when beaten a couple of lengths last year under Lorcan Williams, though has been trained with race in mind and will handle conditions as well as any. Cobblers Dream has won his last two, including the Listed Lanzarote at Kempton, and may be the pick of the remainder.
