Anita Chambers previews Monday's meeting at Chantilly and she has a selection for every race.
Plumatic is a fascinating runner in the Prix Bertrand du Breuil Longines at Chantilly as he makes his first start for new connections.
Formerly trained by Andre Fabre for the Wertheimer brothers, the six-year-old now races in the colours of Gerard Ryan and is handled by Francis Graffard.
He showed a fine level of form when trained by Fabre, winning at Group Three level in 2018 as well as placing a fine fourth in the Group One Prix du Moulin.
However, he was a bit disappointing when only fourth in the Prix Daniel Wildenstein on his final start that year before being off the track for 207 days.
That defeat and absence meant he was not particularly well fancied on his return in the Prix du Muguet, but he was still a neck too good for previous Classic winner Olmedo in May.
Plumatic had just one more run after that, finishing a close-up third in a Group Three last October before subsequently changing hands.
That interrupted campaign means he does not have to carry any penalties here, he runs well fresh and would certainly have the ability to win judged on his best.
There are some beautifully-bred fillies on display in the Prix de la Caleche des Imperatrices, with Land Of Maybe catching the eye.
A daughter of American Pharoah out of Group One-placed Pachattack, Land Of Maybe finished fourth on her only outing for Pascal Bary last year.
Galawi looks a horse of potential as he has his second outing in the Prix de la Berline du Duc de Bourbon.
His dam Galikova was not only a half-sister to the great Goldikova, but she was also pretty useful herself on the track, with a Group One win in the Prix Vermeille the highlight of 12-race career.
Galawi was expected to make a winning debut at Chantilly in March and while he ran well enough in second, he was no match for four-and-half-length winner Another Sky.
That one may have proved disappointing in a Classic trial last week, but the fact he was even tried in that company shows the regard in which he is held.
Dream Word disappointed on his most recent run in January but could still go well in the Prix des Pistes d'Entrainement.
